Howard Nathenson participated in the New Jersey & You - Perfect Together! show in Fall 2017 at Village West.

"I was born in Denver, Colorado in 1940. I attended The University of Denver and received a BFA in painting. I spent two years at The San Francisco Art Institute, and then went to graduate school at The University of California Berkeley, where I received an MFA in painting. I taught in the art department at U.C for two years after having received my degree.
My primary mediums are painting and drawing and photography.
I have exhibited my work widely and nationally. I have had many one person exhibitions and have been included in many group shows. My work was shown at the Whitney Annual in 1972, "Extraordinary Images," Whitney Museum 1972, The Drawing Center NYC 1982 , Artist Space NYC 1977, City Without Walls 1996.
My work is in the collections of the Neuberger Museum, The Dorsky Museum, Cuny, The Bergen Museum and many private collections.
I am particularly interested in landscape, cityscape and nature oriented themes."
